Prof. Umaru Gunu

Prof Umar Gunu is a management specialist and educationist at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. A renown professor with about twenty-five years teaching and mentoring experience in the field of business management, marketing, human resources and entrepreneurship. A dynamic teacher, an erudite scholar and a strategic management scientist with track records of excellence. He has over 90 publications to his credit both home and abroad. An academic mentor and role model. Professor Gunu has held many administrative positions in the University. He served as the Deputy Director CREDIT, Director Technical and Entrepreneurship Centre (TEC), Head of Department, and member of many University committees. He is currently the Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin. Also, the Chairman, University of Ilorin Admissions Committee. A member of the Academy of management Nigeria. A fellow of the institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria. An external examiner to a number of Universities in Nigeria, Professorial assessor with many PhD graduates. His current research span through General management and Entrepreneurship. He is a Change Master.
